CITRA (Chess Interface & Tactical Robotic Assistant) is an innovative system that merges robotic automation and artificial intelligence to deliver a futuristic chess-playing experience. This project integrates the precision of the DOBOT robotic arm with the strategic power of the Stockfish AI chess engine, enabling a fully interactive chess tournament between human players and an intelligent robotic opponent. The chess board and pieces were custom-designed and produced using 3D printing technology to ensure precision and functionality. In addition, the Voice Chess module introduces voice-controlled gameplay, allowing players to issue chess moves via spoken commands through a microphone. These commands are processed using speech recognition algorithms and executed physically on the board by the DOBOT arm. By combining robotics, AI, and voice interaction, CITRA offers an immersive and educational platform for exploring tactical decision-making, human-AI interaction, and intelligent automation.
